In general, PERIDUR is added at about 10% of the consumption of a high-grade sodium bentonite (e.g. Wyoming). The dosage rate changes from 0.03 - 0.1% and averages about 0.05% (0,5 kg/ton ore). Because of the significant difference in dosage rates, bentonite addition systems cannot usually be used for dosing PERIDUR.
