BERMOCOLL M is a methyl ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose (MEHEC), the only one of its kind on the market today. The number of methyl groups corresponds closely to those found on MHPC or MHEC grades currently available. In addition, a low amount of ethyl substitution is present on the molecule.

It is possible to vary hydrophobicity by altering the ratio of methyl and ethyl substituents in combination with hydrophobic hydroxethyl substituents. This unique capacity makes it possible to design products ideally suited for tile adhesives as well as for other applications in which good workability and high strength are needed. A range of BERMOCOLL M grades is planned.
